EPQ
The Extended Project Qualification is worth half an A level (up to 28 UCAS points) and can be taken alongside any of our Level 3 Pathways with the exception of the 4 A level pathway.
EPQs are studied from October of Year 12 to January of Year 13. This is an extensive independent research project involving:
- Taught lessons every week
- Lots of independent research and work. The majority of the EPQ is done in your own time.
- A 5000 word dissertation OR an artefact and artefact report(piece of art, play, song, charity project, TED talk etc)
- An extensive independent research portfolio
- A research log & analysed literature review
- Project plans
- A presentation
- An evaluation
